The city has taken up the 30-day challenge to become one of the healthiest cities in the world

A resident took the Dubai Fitness Challenge to the next level on Saturday - when he pulled a double-decker bus.

According to this tweet by Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) Dubai, one of their employees pulled off this stunt in an open ground in Dubai - pulling the huge public bus a few feet.

It is noteworthy that the average weight of a double-decker bus is 12.6 tons!

Earlier over the weekend, crowds thronged Skydive Dubai with friends and family on Friday to take part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge carnival, the arena transformed into an open-air party with pulsating music and several fitness classes going on simultaneously at the venue.

The Dubai Fitness Challenge is a 30-day long initiative by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to transform the cosmopolitan into one of the world's fittest and healthiest cities, by encouraging citizens and residents to exercise or get involved in a healthy activity for 30 minutes a day for 30 days.

The initiative officially kicked off on October 20 and will end on November 18.
